Got it
So I went into the RTA (Road Traffic Authority) today and did my learners. I got there nice and early, with my forms already filled in. I was expecting to queue for some time, probably because of my experiences at the Krugersdorp Licensing department. And I was pleasantly suprised, I waited for about 5 minutes before someone helped me, and then when I got to her she smiled and joked around. She was very helpful. She sorted me out without laughing at my passport and driver pictures, which even I struggle to do, and then she put me in front of a touch screen to do my half an hour driver knowledge test.
10 minutes later I was driving to fetch Karen, because I was not allowed to drive without a “Proper” driver any more. She was laughing at me because I have to drive a car with these huge yellow and black “L Plates” on a car, and what’s even worse I am not allowed to go faster than 80 km per hour, which means I am not allowed to drive on any freeways. But I am going to have my driver’s test on the 13th, so wish me and my big yellow plates luck.
Thank You Come Again
