So here I am sitting at the Stamford Grand Hotel, waiting for an interview which is due to start in about half an hour. Let me give an update on how things are going here.

I finally did my nut sitting at home, with nobody to talk to, so I decided last week to take it easy and find a job, mainly to get out and make some friends and get out there, but also so I can earn Dollars, seeing though I am living in Dollars.

So I started applying for jobs on Wednesday last week, I thought I could take it easy and have a few interviews the following week, but at least start the ball rolling. So I visited the Australian equivalent of career junction, I applied for a job and started reading the profile for the next job, and then my phone started ringing. Man alive that was quick and it has been that way since. I have been running from interview to interview. I have never been in this position before, I have had a lot of interest and that is even after they have met me. It seems that I will have a choice of employer. Which is quite unique for me, oh dear got to go they are here, half an hour early.

Ok, it is now Wednesday and I finished my interview after about a hour and a half of good chatting. As far as interviews go this was not one, it was more of a discussion about their company and were they are going in life, it went really well, and I think they liked me. The only reason why I left when I did was because they had another interview immediately after mine.

Great stuff, I have since heard that they are going to make me an offer; I will get it tomorrow and start on Friday. They apparently really liked me, and could have chatted and bounced ideas about their business for another hour but as I said before they had an interview after mine. Financially the offer is not as great as the other opportunities, but the working environment is right up my alley, when I am not at home, I will be working out of the local uni. So I will mostly be wearing shorts and a t-shirt. I have decided to go with this offer, and will stop looking for more work. At least now I will also have time to keep my commitments with mCubed, you I enjoy working for and respect very much.

This has been a good day, got job, got internet, and got foxtel. Things are looking up.
